If you adore growing and cooking healthy food as much as I do, you would jump at the chance to work on a cookbook with an amazing and world-reknowned chef. As this was a Second Edition of a popular best-seller, it was clear that it would be getting attention from fans and other famous chefs. Also those who have followed her extensive career would be thrilled to see her new recipes. It needed to be simply fantastic and yet visually reminiscient of the original. To achieve that goal, Holly provided scans of old family photos, including images of her television appearances with celebrities and other chefs. I restored these faded images to their original brilliance using Photoshop.
This indoor grilling cookbook was printed as a 304-page, 7.5x9.25 inch, perfect-bound volume. I produced both black and white and color versions, including an introduction with nostalgic photos, 50 complete menus and detailed cooking charts. I also produced a full-color interactive Ebook with bookmarks, cross-references and a hyperlinked Menu Index. This modern version of her cookbook can be used on desktops, tablets, iPads, and smart phones.

My wonderful music editor, Charylu Roberts started the publishing process by formatting and editing the music and did the initial content formatting. Phyllis then took over and turned the book into magic. She created a cover that is so engaging, people who have never played the ukulele are inspired to purchase an instrument and start playing. She enhanced the interior of the hard-copy book and then created a full-color Ebook that simply rocks the house. She embedded all 86 instructional MP3s with each musical exercise and song, making the Ebook extremely user-friendly.
