I have worked for Amy Seiwert's Imagery since 2013 producing their fundraising brochures, print and online advertisements, flyers, postcards, posters and programs for their SKETCH Series of ballets. Amy accepted the position of Artistic Director with Sacramento Ballet in 2018 and she asked me to assist them with their fundraising, promotional, and marketing needs.
Sacramento Ballet had previously established a branding look and style for their 2018-2019 Season. This included background artwork, color palettes, logos, and fonts. My design and production job was to use those styles throughout the season for online advertisements and print media.
Following the classic ballet program style each event required booklets with many elements, consistent formatting and proofreading throughout the production cycle. Advertisers provided pre-designed ads to be placed within the program layouts. The incredible performance photography of Keith Sutter made my typography and layouts come alive. I was subsequently asked to design advertisements in the programs for upcoming events, auditions, seasonal fundraising, and The School of Sacramento Ballet's Winter and Summer Performances. I also designed lawn signs and fence banners for the summer program at The School of Sacramento Ballet.
The 2019-2020 Sights Unseen Season required a 5-fold mailing brochure for season ticket purchasers featuring a wonderful event poster on the inside. I also designed lobby signage for each event highlighting the sponsors and guiding the guests towards concessions and gift shops. Another project was the Seasonal Promotion which included the annual Spring Gala & Auction and the Open Houses. These events required designs for invitations, RSVP cards, donor benefit flyers, event flyers, print and online advertisements, and tickets.
Sadly, due to COVID-19 the performances of Homegrown 2020, Fast Forward 2020, and the highly anticipated Let's Misbehave Spring Gala 2020 had to be cancelled.
